and
store

Fold
the
arm
into

closed
position

secure

by
snapping

into

clip.

Put

dust
cover
on

end
of

The
main
power
switch
at
the
back
lower
side
of
the
unit

Connecting

Remove

protective
cap
form
the
distal
end
of
the
articulated
arm.
Inspect

distal
end

articulated

The
threads
must
be
clean
and
undamaged.

Inspect
the
final
focusing
lens
housing.
If
the
lens
housing
has
been
removed
from
the
handpiece,
carefully
screw
the
focusing
lens
into
the
tapered
cone.

Ensure
that
the
focusing
lens
housing
is
properly
seated
and
is
not
over
tightened.
4)
Attach
the
handpiece
assembly
(focusing
lens,
handpiece)
to
the
articulated
arm
by
threading
the
assembly
into
the
ring
mount
at
the
end
of
the
arm.
Ensure
that
the
handpiece
assembly
is
properly
seated
and
is
not
over
tightened.

Cleaning

To
ensure
proper
system
performance,
a calibration
check
should
be performed
at least
once
a year
by a
SNJ
CO.,

authorized
service
representative.
In
the
unlikely
event
that
the
instrument
fails
to operate
properly,
consult
the
Troubleshooting
Guide
in this
chapter.

Cleaning
the
LASER
Console
Clean
the
external
surfaces
of the
LASER
console
periodically
with
a cloth
wetted
with
a spray
disinfectant
cleaner.
Dry
with
a clean,
dry
cloth. |

Calibrating
the
LASER |
Under
normal
conditions,
the
instrument's
calibration
should
be cheeked
annually
with
a calibrated
energy
that
power
monitor
is functioning
properly
and
that
the
articulated
arm
system
is aligned.

Troubleshooting
Guide |
If
the
instrument
will
cannot
turn
on,
check
the
following
items.
-
Verify
that
the
AC power
cord
is plugged
into
the
power
in the
on (
I )
position.
-
Push
down
on fully
engaging
interlocks.
- Check
the
main
power
fuse
on the
back
next
to the
main
power
switch.
- When
the
instrument
is function
on the
back
to fire(and
power
is on):
>
Verify
power
switch
lamp
is illuminated.
>
Verify
the
foot
switch
control
is fully
seated
in its
socket.
- If
still
not
firing,
disable,
power
down
with
key
switch,
wait
2 minutes,
turn
key
back
on.

Staring
up the
LASER

Turn
the
Key-switch
clockwise.
Then
the
electric
is supplied
to the
LASER.

unit,

Checking
the
Alignment
of the
Aiming
Beam
Before
operating
the
system,
check
to make
sure
the
brightness
and
alignment
of the
aiming
beam
are
satisfactory.
Alignment
is to
make
sure
the
LASER
beam
is pointing
straight
along
the
line
that
the
aiming
beam
is pointing.

Warm-Up
Insert
the
key
into
the
key
switch.
Rotate
the
key
clockwise
to the
on (
I )
position
and
release
the
key.
The
pump
and
fan
start
running
and
the
micro0controller
performs
an internal
system
.
The
micro-controller
then
lights
all
the
control
panel
displays
briefly.

Power
Setting
for
the
Operation
The
intensity
of LASER
beam
can
be adjusted
by the
operator
to fit
his/her
applications
depending
on the
condition
of the
skin
tissues.
Therefore,
following
6 modes
can
be applied
for
the
various
clinical
needs:

How
to use
CW mode
(1)
Select
CW(Continuous
Wave)
using
the
CW key.
The
LASER
beam
emits
continuously.
(2)
Chose
the
desired
output,
push
the
Power
Up/Down
Button.
The
basic
pre-selected
output
is 5W.
Selection
of output
is possible
within
the
range
of 1-25W,
and
the
intensity
changes
1W at
a time.
(3)
Select
Exposure
mode.
Selections
are
CONT(CONTINUITY),
REPT(REPEAT),
and
ONCE
is selected,
the
output
duration
can
be changed
by REPT/SING
Button.
The
basic
preset
selection
is 500ms.
Selection
can
be made
within
the
range
of 100-900ms
and
by 100ms
increment.

Press
the
READY
key. This
key
can
be used
after
the
output
selection
has
been
made.

Foot

beam
starts

How
to use
ULTRA
Mode
(1)
Select
ULTRA
(ULTRA
PULSE)
with
the
ULTRA
key. Ultra
Pulse
lets
the
LASER
pulse
its
beam,
instead
of emitting
uninterrupted
beam.
The
output
duration
is very
short.
The
beam
does
not
penetrate
deep
into
skin,
and
enables
peeling
the
skin
thinly.

The
basic
pre-selected
power
is the
maximum
pulse
(800W).
(3)
Select
the
desired
Exposure
mode.
Selections
are
CONT(CONTINUITY),
REPT(REPEAT),
and
ONCE(SINGLE).
If REPT
or ONCE
is selected,
the
duration
of output
can
be changed
by using
S.On-Time
Up/Down
Button.
The
basis

selection
